How Aman Tap Came to Be
Aman Tap was registered in Kuala Lumpur in 2013 by Hafizuddin Razak, a plumber who had spent the previous decade working on residential and light commercial sites across the Klang Valley. The name — Aman, meaning calm or peaceful in Bahasa Malaysia — reflects the kind of experience he wanted homeowners to have: no anxiety about the bill, no confusion about the diagnosis, no disruption left behind after the job.
The first years were focused entirely on tap and fixture repairs in condominium units around Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and the surrounding Golden Triangle area. Word spread through building management offices and resident WhatsApp groups — the kind of referral that comes when someone does work worth talking about.
By 2018 the team had grown to include a second plumber and a part-time coordinator. The service offering expanded to include multi-drain clearing and full bathroom renovation plumbing — a natural extension given how many renovation contractors were asking for a plumber they could actually schedule reliably.

How We Keep Quality Consistent
JKR Registered Plumber
Our lead plumber holds a valid Plumber Certificate of Competency issued by Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia, meeting the standard required for residential and commercial plumbing work.
Pressure-Tested on Completion
Every repair and installation is tested under normal operating pressure before we consider the job complete. We do not sign off on work we cannot verify is holding correctly.
Parts from Known Suppliers
We source cartridges, fittings, and fixtures from established Malaysian plumbing suppliers. No unmarked generic parts used on load-bearing connections.
Written Quote Before Work
A quote is provided and confirmed — by message or in person — before any work begins. The amount you confirm is the amount you pay.
14-Day Return Policy
If the same fault recurs within 14 days of our visit under normal usage, we return to assess and determine the appropriate remedy without charging an additional call-out fee.
