Kitchen tap had been dripping for weeks and I kept putting it off. Hafizuddin arrived at exactly the time agreed, figured out within a few minutes that the cartridge had gone, and had it replaced before the hour was up. He also pointed out the aerator was half-blocked, which I had not noticed, and cleaned it as part of the same visit. Straightforward job, fair price.

The washer inside was the issue — old and compressed. Replaced quickly. The tap has been fine for six weeks now so the 14-day return policy was not needed but it was good to know it was there.

Two taps, one visit, one cartridge brand that kept failing
Challenge
A 14th-floor unit had experienced a slow drip from the kitchen mixer tap three times in 18 months. Two previous plumbers had repaired it using the same replacement cartridge, which kept failing. The client was frustrated and wanted a lasting fix.
Approach
Hafizuddin identified that the booster pump pressure in the block ran higher than standard and was wearing out the commonly used generic cartridge. He sourced and fitted a pressure-rated cartridge from a different manufacturer, and adjusted the under-sink supply valve slightly to reduce operating pressure.
Result
Tap has been drip-free for seven months. One visit, one repair. The client noted this was the first time the underlying cause had been identified rather than the same part swapped again.

Full bathroom plumbing fit-out during a two-week renovation
Challenge
A homeowner in Petaling Jaya was renovating their main bathroom. Their renovation contractor could handle tiles and carpentry but required a specialist plumber for the full rough-in, fixture mounting, and final fit-off stages. Timing between trades was critical to keep the project on schedule.
Approach
Aman Tap attended for rough-in on day two of the renovation, setting pipe positions for basin, shower, and toilet. A second visit for fit-off was scheduled after tiling was completed. The coordinator kept in contact with the renovation contractor to confirm sequencing and avoid schedule conflicts.
